Join us for a Free Art History Lecture Video Viewing

Thursday, February 8th, 2024

6:30 - 8:00 pm | Free to Attend

Join us at The Reboli Center for Art & History for our increasingly popular Second Thursday Art History Lectures! Though normally hosted by award-winning artist and art history aficionado, Kevin McEvoy, tonight we will present an educational film in McEvoy's absence on Mary Cassatt. Mary Cassatt was an American painter and printmaker known for her involvement in the impressionist movement. Cassatt was born in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, and lived much of her adult life in France, where she befriended Edgar Degas and eventually exhibited with the Impressionists. We will be sharing a video lecture prepared by The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, starting promptly at 6:30pm.

Sit and enjoy as we learn alongside you through this interesting tale. Light snacks will be served for your enjoyment. No reservations are required to attend. Seating will be first come, first served. Doors will open at 6pm. The presentation will last approximately 75 minutes.

Can’t make it this time? Join us every 2nd Thursday for a Free Art History Lecture with Kevin McEvoy - or try joining our Third Friday specials!
