The Reboli Center is excited to announce that we will be hosting a collaborative exhibition with Studio 268 in Spring of 2024

Exhibition at The Reboli Center

March 19th - April 28th, 2024

The Reboli Center is excited to announce that we have teamed up with Mary Jane van Zeijts of Studio 268 to bring you an exhibition bubbling with the contemporary works of the Studio 268 artist group. The studio, founded and operated by van Zeijts, has been a home to many since it opened its doors in 2015. In its character and charm, the physical space embraces you right off the street and into a classroom or session built just for you. The intangible parts of Studio 268 are what they hope to welcome you to more than anything: the feelings of joy in creating, of challenge in trying, and of love in sharing and being with them at their space. This is something that The Reboli Center and their staff can truly relate to!

Mary Jane van Zeijts received her Bachelor of Fine Art Degree from Maryland Institute College of Art, where her concentration was in drawing and printmaking. She earned a Master of Arts in Education with honors from New York University and has taught both publicly and privately while exhibiting widely.

A professional artist with experience in several mediums, she is at present exploring pastel as a means to express her feelings through the subject matter that moves her. Going into nature for inspiration and ideas, van Zeijts lays the foundation for her work outdoors and finished each piece in her Studio. Mary Jane van Zeijts award-winning work is widely desired, being feature in numbers public and private collections.

During this exhibition, we will feature a sub-exhibit in our Englebright gallery that will educate visitors on the interesting history of the area of Setauket in which Studio 268 is located. Our exhibitions are free to the public and no reservations are required during business hours to attend. Reservations are recommended however for large groups.

A list of participating artist will be released closer to the start of the show. If you have questions about this exhibition, we welcome you to contact us: info@rebolicenter.org
