Today the Reboli Center for Art and History was excited to add four sculptures by Long Island artist/sculptor David Haussler. David’s history covers more than 30 year of commissions, gallery and museum shows, television appearances, and inclusion in a number of both private and public art collections. He has even been featured in a children’s book!
David’s unique way of handling metal gives his sculptures a powerful and yet sensitive characteristic. The four sculptures now featured on the Reboli Center’s grounds are testimony to those qualities.
David is the founder of the Long Island Professional Sculptors and Supporters. This grass roots organization is dedicated to developing sculpture awareness on Long Island by expanding show spaces for sculptors, advocating public art projects, developing alternative show spaces, and making sure that public art projects are executed by qualified artists.
The Haussler Sculptures are a new wonderful addition to the grounds of the Reboli Center and are sure to bring enjoyment to our community!
