The History of the Guide Dog Foundation

July 15th – August 17th, 2025

Free and Open to the Public

During Carol Luz’s solo exhibition in our Main Gallery, there will be a sub-exhibit in our Englebright Gallery on the history of the incredible Guide Dog Foundation!  Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about how this very impactful organization came to be, the types of training that guide dogs undergo and how guide dog services can positively influence the lives of many. Curated by Bill Krol. Krol will also be joining us on the evening of July 18th, from 6:30-7:30pm for a talk and demonstration as our featured Third Friday Guest! Refreshments will be served. This event will be free for all to attend. Doors will open at 6pm.

Nestled overlooking Stony Brook Creek and the harbor, our Center offers a serene environment for visitors to explore and appreciate art in all its forms. The gallery is ADA-compliant, and free parking is available for all visitors.
