This March, we are delighted to feature Meghan Patrice Riley, a Brooklyn-based artist whose sculptural jewelry combines artistry, engineering, and wearability. Meghan’s designs are crafted from nylon-coated stainless steel cable wire, sterling silver, 14k gold fill, and semi-precious stones, creating pieces that are not only visually striking but also lightweight, durable, and hypoallergenic, perfect for everyday wear and travel.
Her work is inspired by the structures of the modern city: suspension bridges, electrical poles, and the elegant geometry of urban landscapes. Each piece is hand-fabricated using a combination of soldering, cold-connections, and textile techniques applied to metal, resulting in the soft drape and fluid movement that have become her signature. Gemstones and pearls are carefully integrated to punctuate the cable lines, adding color, sparkle, and a sense of playful elegance.
Meghan’s jewelry has been recognized both nationally and internationally. She has held solo gallery shows, earned the prestigious Raphael Founder Prize for innovation in small metals from the Society for Contemporary Craft, and presented fashion collections at NY Fashion Week and China Chengdu Fashion Week. She has also been a semi-finalist for the Ecco Domani Fashion Fund and a finalist participant in the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Design Entrepreneur Program.
Meghan was discovered by our president, Lois Reboli, who immediately recognized the beauty, craftsmanship, and innovation in her work, and knew she belonged in the Reboli Center Design Shop. Since then, Meghan’s pieces have delighted our visitors and become a standout part of our collection.
