Howard B. Eskin

The theme of photography continues in our history room where we will have a sub-exhibition on former Stony Brook local, Howard B. Eskin.

Howard B. Eskin was a patron, collector and dear friend of Joseph Reboli whose nature photography captivated the hearts of all who viewed. In his retirement, Eskin focused all of his creative energy on his photography and had many photographs published by the Audubon Society. In conjunction with the sub-exhibition featuring Howard Eskin’s work and life story, we will also be offering an interesting slideshow regarding the historical evolution of photography since the first recorded photograph was taken back in the early 1800’s.

Special thanks to Jo-Anne Wilson for her assistance in curating Through the Lens and to Lisa Eskin for providing content for our history room collection. To learn more about this exhibition please contact us.
