The Reboli Center is thrilled to feature dedicated volunteer Andrea Ingrassia as our Feature Artisan of the Month for October 2026. A resident of Mt. Sinai since 1984, Andrea brings a rich artistic background to the Center, including a degree in Advertising Art & Design from SUNY Farmingdale. Over the years, her career has spanned working as a textbook illustrator for John Wiley & Sons, a mechanical paste-up artist for Newsday, nearly 10 years engraving elevator panels for Monitor Controls, and five years at Gallery North in Setauket.
Her connection to The Reboli Center blossomed through our Vice President, BJ Intini, with whom she previously worked at Gallery North. Today, Andrea is a quintessential asset to our community, volunteering weekly in both the Design Shop and Gallery to support our exhibitions and patrons, especially as the holiday season rapidly approaches.
Throughout the month of October, coinciding with our "Works on Paper" exhibition, Andrea will be showcasing her stunning, handcrafted recycled paper bracelets and necklaces. The Director of the Center enthusiastically noted of her work, "The pieces are like an elegant crossroads between a relatively punk statement piece and Upcycled Industrial Chic."
As soon as we saw Andrea's unique creations, we knew they would be the perfect fit for the exhibition, and we are beyond delighted to display her art. We are incredibly grateful for Andrea’s time, expertise, and warm presence, which are deeply cherished by visitors and staff alike. Thank you, Andrea, for all that you do to help make The Reboli Center such a special place!
