October Third Friday with Patricia Feiler

  • The Reboli Center for Art and History 64 Main Street Stony Brook, NY, 11790 (map)

Join us at the Reboli Center for our October Third Friday event on October 17th, featuring a special presentation by currently exhibiting artist, Patricia Feiler of Mattituck, New York! A lifelong painter and retired music educator, Patricia’s work is inspired by the luminous colors of Long Island’s beaches, skies, and farmland. When winter arrives, she travels in her camper to warmer regions, painting on site in deserts, prairies, marshes, and coastal landscapes, capturing the drama and beauty of each setting. With a rich family tradition in the arts and a lineage tracing back to the renowned illustrator Thomas Nast, Patricia brings both history and personal passion to her work. Guests will have the opportunity to hear her artistic journey, learn about her life and creative process, and ask questions during the Q&A following her talk. This event is free and open to the public, with no reservations required. Seating is first come, first served. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the presentation begins at 6:30 PM. Guests will also enjoy complimentary shrimp cocktail, cookies, cheese, crackers, grapes, and other refreshments along with an opportunity to see the exhibition and browse the Design Shop as part of the evening’s experience!
