January’s THIRD FRIDAY | Being Human Opening Reception
The Reboli Center for Art and History invites you to the opening reception of "Being Human," our latest exhibition by renowned Long Island-based artist Charles Wildbank, on Friday, January 17th, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Meet the artist and enjoy the breathtaking exhibition over light refreshments. This event is free to attend and open to the public, with no reservations required.

Despite being deaf from birth, Wildbank’s work has earned national recognition, and this exhibition highlights his powerful artistic journey.
About Charles Wildbank:
Charles Wildbank is a nationally recognized artist whose works have found homes in prestigious institutions and private collections across the United States. Despite being born deaf, Wildbank has defied expectations and turned his perceived limitations into a source of artistic strength, drawing inspiration from a lifetime spent immersed in the world of visual art.
From an early age, Wildbank was deeply influenced by his experiences visiting museums and art collections across the globe. He studied and befriended leading figures in the art world, including Andrew Wyeth, Audrey Flack, Neil Welliver, and David Hockney.
A highly accomplished academic, Wildbank received a fellowship to Yale University School of Music and Art at the age of 21, culminating in a Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous awards and accolades, including appearances on The Discovery Channel’s Deaf Mosaic and various magazine covers, further cementing his place as a leading figure in contemporary art.
